I absolutely love this video. It’s an ad from Apple way back in 1997. I thought that it basically summed up my readers better than anything else. I just appeared with 2 clients / friends on the new Cookalong Live Show with famous Chef, Gordon Ramsey. He is eccentric, different and knows his stuff. He is a showman and is now teaching people how to cook from home – LIVE – on Fox. Some people think he is crazy…. I applaud him. Read more below…
Here is the text version:
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones,
We see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world,
Are the ones who do.
So here is a toast to you, readers. You are the imaginative, the creative, the mentally and physically strong, the innovators, the revolutionaries and the creators that push our world forward. Keep on following your hearts and passions. Keep on in your pursuit to build something incredible to give to the world. Show the world who you are and what you are made of.
Put a bullet through the forehead of mediocrity.

One of the world’s most untold tragic failures is the belief of limitations to our ability to accomplish something. That we are incapable of rising above our environment or circumstances. I truly believe it’s largely responsible for the poverty and many of the problems of our world today. How is it possible to rise above and accomplish something when you believe you cannot do it?
It cracks me up when I hear people say they are “too busy” to do something different in order to achieve success. You have to do something …. I mean… anything…. would be something…. Do you know what I mean? hahaha…. maybe you do… maybe you don’t. But here is the deal: NO one is busier than myself and my friends and business partners. We are always working on something and helping people improve themselves or their businesses. We are busy… I am busy… and I still find time for fun stuff…. for friends…. family…. and anything else I choose….. CHOOSE is the key word….. Too busy??? I have to laugh.
BELIEVE while others are doubting.
Most businesses do not realize their best customers are the ones they already have. They advertise to the masses and are constantly in search of new customers. I learned this concept from a great analogy (for the life of me, I cannot remember where it came from or who said it. If you know please tell me so I can give proper credit). To further your understanding, picture your business as a bucket. To keep your business running, you have to put customers into your bucket. The problem is that the bucket has holes in the bottom where customers fall out. So in order to keep the bucket full and running smoothly, most businesses have to constantly advertise to “the masses,” and put new people into their bucket. Why not just figure out a way to plug up the holes in the bottom of your bucket? Find ways to keep the customers you have. If you properly maintain your customers, they will stay in your bucket and continue to buy from you.

Do your prospects have photos on the walls and pics of their kids on their desk? Awards or plaques? If you want to close, you have to hit the hot buttons. When you have a meeting in their environment (office) you can use those hot buttons to close the deal. Example: Lets say you sell life insurance. Now you know that you can use something along the lines of, “Have you considered what would happen to your wife and kids if you died?” or as my good buddy Frank always says…. “What happens if you live too long? Are you prepared?” That’s powerful. Happy prospecting!
