This 4th of July I decided to write about freedom. Go figure. Not too original I know but I do have some ideas on the subject and I thought I would pose some questions for you out there on this wonderful Independence Day.

1) If you had all the time, money and freedom in the world— what would you be doing right now?
2) Do you really know what freedom is anymore? What it entails? What it’s worth?
3) Do you thank others for your freedoms or do you take them for granted everyday?
4) What would you do with your time if you were financially free?
5) Would you speak your mind to your boss if you knew you could be free from the tyranny of corporate America?
6) How many people could you help if you were out of debt? time debt and money debt?
7) Are you willing to just give up on your dreams and allow freedom to be a lost art in this country of the American Dream – the good old USA?

I wrote this entry off the top of my head and want to thank everyone out there that contributes to my freedom in this great country we live in. I hope we all go out there and remember what that means today and why we should stand up and go after what we really want to in this life. I hope you all find the courage to DREAM BUILD and remember that being free isn’t free. Be courageous – Go after your dreams again and be grateful for all that you have.

More than ever, we are championing the cause of the “SPARE INCOME”. In today’s perilous financial times more people need a spare income, especially when you consider all the things and people that depend on it.

Whether you realize it or not… owning a business from home is a tremendous “spare income” opportunity for you and other people you know, love, and care about. The trick is finding a business that is at least 5 years old and backed by a billion plus dollar company…. Why is that? It’s because: (first and foremost – you want stability)

1) It compliments what you and others are already doing and will continue to do… consume products and everyone.

2) Even if you don’t make a tremendous amount of income at first, if you are at least in an attempt to make a profit, your tax advantages alone should pay for your business.

3) It’s a business that YOU own. You can begin building your “dream” rather than continue building someone else’s. The sad truth about our business is if most people worked this business like they worked their JOB, they would have everything they wanted and more. No question.

4) It creates leveraged and residual income like no other. The wealthiest 1% of Americans use leveraged and residual income to create wealth. The problem for most folks is that it usually takes a lot of money just to get in the game that the wealthiest 1% play. For the business we are talking about here – $49 – $499 and $49 – $250 /mo. With this type of business – you will see the benefits sooner than later I assure you! Most people judge this business based on what it cost to join rather than what is possible to earn. If you think something is worthwhile… it is…. if you think something is garbage… it is… The store, “Another man’s treasure” is proof of that—– either way, YOU’RE RIGHT! Want more information, call this 4 minute pre-recorded message at 507-726-3700.

Here is a cool resource I found the other day: Dropbox. QUICK NOTE: For all you folks that wonder, NO I am not being paid or given any incentive whatsoever by them. I just think it’s a cool tool that you might find useful to use. It’s also free for the basic package of up to 2 gigs!

Copied from their website:

Let’s say you’re editing a document at home. As soon as you click ‘Save’, Dropbox will sync this same file to all your other computers (and now your iPhone!) instantly and automatically. It’s as if you saved the document to all of your computers. This gives you the freedom to work on any of your computers and always have the files you need updated.

Now when I make changes to my documents, it saves the most updated version on all of my computers. No longer do I have to wonder if this document has the up to the minute updates. Pretty cool stuff. Check it out at www.getdropbox.com. Enjoy!

The other day my buddy was driving down the road and noticed his car wasn’t giving all of its power. Something was holding it back. He looked around and pulled over to see what was going on… only to realize that he was driving with the emergency brake on.

It’s always something…hahahaha… right?

It reminded me how many of us are like a car with the emergency brake on. We have allowed ourselves to let some outside force hold us back or keep us from giving it our full effort.

In order to fully go after what you want in life you have to let go of what is holding you back. You have to let go of the emergency brake and just go for it. Perhaps your past results are keeping you from giving it your all. Whatever it is, let it go and move forward. If you don’t let go of your fears you will never be able to fly towards your goals. Robert Kiyosaki said, as well as others, that fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real. What do you think?

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.
– Lao Tzu

Some think it’s holding on that makes one strong; sometimes it’s letting go.
– Sylvia Robinson

Stand up and walk out of your history.
– Phil McGraw

The harder you fight to hold on to specific assumptions, the more likely there’s gold in letting go of them.
– John Seely Brown

Are you driving with the emergency brake on? Is something holding you back from going after your goals? Drop the excuses, and go for it.
