Change is the only constant we have in this life. Now… take a minute and think about that. :) We fight and fight and fight against it but there is nothing that is more certain in our little existence. That’s right… I said little existence. There is a BIG world out there and most people don’t think outside of themselves or their communities enough to realize this simple fact.
So what’s so great about that box you have yourself sealed up inside? Why is it so comfortable? Here’s a quote from Dave Ramsay – “Not until the pain of the same is greater than the pain of change will you embrace change.” WOW. Did that sink in? I have said this for years and discussed people and their motivations with other industry leaders in business… when it comes right down to it… most people are living quiet lives of desperation and they don’t realize HOW simple it is to step outside that misery and become more.
You may be asking yourself – and many people do – Why can’t it all just be easy? Well the answer is a simple one – cause there’s no money, value or work involved in easy. Ha. :) I mean there isn’t. It’s simple …. not easy. BIG difference.
It might seem like it’s comfortable staying where you are…. it seems safe…. (What a joke in todays economy and world) What is safe anymore? The only safety anymore is in multiple streams of income and being your own boss. That’s it in my opinion. It might seem easy to sit there and stick to the same grind everyday… but I say… step out… see that world around you. Help someone besides yourself today and let that comfort zone slip away till it’s a distant memory.
Be Somebody…..after all….God didn’t take time to make a nobody!
