“If you are on the road to nowhere, FIND ANOTHER ROAD” – proverb somewhere… But hey! How true is that?

I see so many people stuck in their dreary dead end jobs, no security, n0 back up plans, nothing to look forward to. They are on the road to nowhere…. ending up with nothing…. Sometimes…. EVEN if they have a little something to look forward to… they are still living quiet lives of desperation… that could be you or someone you know right now!

What can ya do about it? Well… find another road! hahaha… It’s really the answer to everything… when one door closes… look for an open door. Opportunities don’t go away… they just go to someone else who’s ready to POUNCE on them… ARE you ready?

Minds are like parachutes — they work best when open. Don’t discount something you don’t understand or an opportunity because it’s not the NORM…. quick FYI – the NORM IS BROKEN. Did you get that? THE NORM IS BROKEN. I hope I don’t have to say it again…. You want some SOUND financial advice…. you better find a side business and you better find it quick. I have such a business and if you are interested in creating another $500 a month or tons more…. you can MSG me right here.

Luck – when opportunity meets preparation

A lot of people out there believe in luck… and I am letting you know now… I am not one of them. I personally know people that think I am lucky. People say I was in the lucky seat when I saw certain opportunities. All I can do is laugh. DO I ALWAYS SUCCEED? No. No one does… DO I SUCCEED more often than most? Yes. WHY?

Do I succeed more often because I am lucky?

I chose to GRAB those opportunities and do something with them. It doesn’t matter what you do… it’s that you DO. Now… that being said – I do have criteria I look for in business models and I am damn good at it. I usually pick winners… “usually” being the operative word there. I have pulled from many failures in my life and learned the specifics you need in order to find success! That’s it.

Earl Nightingale spoke of this in a famous series called, “Lead the Field.” It is a series I listen to over and over to this day. If you haven’t ever heard of it… I would suggest picking up the series.

We must decide to fail or succeed. But really… we must decide we are going to GO FOR IT in order to have the chance to fail or succeed. Nothing and No ONE can guarantee success. Failure is not even failure in my opinion… it’s all about the journey and whether or not you enjoyed it and learned something in order to MOVE on and do it BETTER.

OPEN your mind today and DO something. Time goes on no matter what. Your life will move on no matter what. Change is always happening no matter what. DO something and GET started with something today!

Success is going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm.

Freedom… the lost art of the american dream?

This 4th of July I decided to write about freedom. Go figure. Not too original I know but I do have some ideas on the subject and I thought I would pose some questions for you out there on this wonderful Independence Day.

1) If you had all the time, money and freedom in the world— what would you be doing right now?
2) Do you really know what freedom is anymore? What it entails? What it’s worth?
3) Do you thank others for your freedoms or do you take them for granted everyday?
4) What would you do with your time if you were financially free?
5) Would you speak your mind to your boss if you knew you could be free from the tyranny of corporate America?
6) How many people could you help if you were out of debt? time debt and money debt?
7) Are you willing to just give up on your dreams and allow freedom to be a lost art in this country of the American Dream – the good old USA?

I wrote this entry off the top of my head and want to thank everyone out there that contributes to my freedom in this great country we live in. I hope we all go out there and remember what that means today and why we should stand up and go after what we really want to in this life. I hope you all find the courage to DREAM BUILD and remember that being free isn’t free. Be courageous – Go after your dreams again and be grateful for all that you have.

Do more with other people’s failures….

“That will never work, my aunt tried the same thing and failed.” Those were the words that came out of a prospect for my network marketing company, Visalus. I think learning from others mistakes can be very beneficial, but listening to their bad advice can seriously hurt you. You see, where others fail — doesn’t mean you will too. Just because your aunt, Sue, can’t market something, doesn’t mean you can’t. Just because your brother in law, Richard, can’t start a business properly doesn’t mean you can’t.

Your results are your own and determined by what you put in. How do you know that they even took the product out of the shrink wrap? Do you know if they properly trained themselves? Do you know if they treated it like a real business, or just simply “this thing they are doing / trying out…..?????” Don’t inhale the smoke others blow. Their failure could have happened for all sorts of reasons.

OTHER people’s failures have nothing to do with you! ONLY YOU can determine your success or failure. Don’t let others decide it before you even get started!?!

She Did What?!?! Are You Politicking Or Producing?

The other day, I attended a seminar where the speaker, multimillionaire Blake Mallen, said:

“You are either politicking or producing, but you can’t be doing both.”

Gossip or politics doesn’t get you any closer to your goals. Most of the time it keeps you from taking action and doing any real work. If you look at most true producers and achievers, they simply don’t have time, nor the desire to be a part of it. They are too busy creating value and taking steps towards advancement to care about whose dating who, or “showing” everyone how successful they are.

There are a lot of organizations where people get so caught up in the water-cooler gossip that they never produce any results in the process. They may be “in the know” or part of the “in” crowd, but usually no real production occurs from it. If you want to go after your goals, you must produce and leave the gossiping to the others that don’t really want success. What kind of a return does the drama between Sue and Charles produce?

You can either be politicking or producing, but you can’t be doing both. Me… I’d rather have the results and the freedom those results produce.

Keep it simple… the inches we need are all around us

Sometimes, in life, we need a LOT of direction…. WE need to know where we are starting in order to figure out where we are going….

To get from point A to point B – you really need to know the alphabet…. Life doesn’t come with an instruction book but we need reference points to figure things out. SO – the big question is – where are you? Do you know where you are starting from? Do you know where you want to go? Do you like your job? Would you like better hours? Would you like more tax deductions? Would you like to make more money? YES …. everyone says yes… and why wouldn’t they? I would say yes…. who isn’t looking for ways to do all those things?

I am a firm believer in network marketing and mlm companies for building businesses. I know very wealthy people all over the country that literally tell their kids they have to join an MLM and build it up to a certain level. They have to run it like a business…. help people… and make a profit. Their kids learn the the ropes with a minimal investment into the legitimate world of networking marketing. Here is a great company to view: Visalus Sciences Killer health and wellness benefits and the doctors behind the companies are even better. NOW — why would these masters of industry have their kids join these companies? To quote a friend of mine, “Because I want my kids to be able to run a company before they take over for me!” WOW… that’s a powerful statement for the industry. I have performed well in this industry because I like to help people and I know how to build a successful team. I am currently working with the two companies I mentioned before. They are new… and very powerful for income production and I KNOW what it takes in this industry. Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki and Warren Buffet are all major backers of the network marketing industry…. do you know more than they do? What are we all missing out on?

It’s simple….. You have to know where you are…. to get where you want to go. You have to realize it’s a game of inches. You have to realize it’s not easy but easier than anything you have done before. Success is easier than failure. You have to go for it…. why not?
